What does “verified” mean?
Each listing shows only the checks that were actually completed and recorded. They are four different things:
- Verified company: the supplying company’s identity and registration were checked.
- Verified documents: the documents provided (for example a certificate of origin or health certificate) were seen and checked.
- Verified commercial information: the price, quantity and terms of this offer were re-confirmed with the supplier.
- Cargo inspected: the goods themselves were inspected by a named inspector.
None of these means QAA guarantees the quality or delivery of the cargo unless a separate contract says so. Agree terms and inspection in the contract before you trade.
